First Sunday

The Antelope Hills Christian Church held their first worship service Sunday in the new building just north of Canby on County Road 13.

Fall Food Drive

St. Peter's Student Council teamed up with the Catholic Order of Foresters - Feeding God's Children event, for their annual fall food drive.  They collected 781 items, plus $270, from St. Peter's students/parishioners, for the local Prairie Five Food Shelf.

Ivanhoe - A discussion of saving the Ivanhoe Co-op Creamery building, a historic building along Main Street in Ivanhoe was held as part of the Nov. 16 Lincoln County board meeting.

Essay Award Winners

Canby’s first place winners in the Veterans of Foreign Wars patriotic audio and essay writing competition are moving on to the state competition. Both were named first place in the southwest Minnesota district.

Knowledge Bowl

Twenty-three teams from 11 different schools competed at the Junior High Knowledge Bowl meet on Nov. 15 at Canby High School.
