Chuck Lindeman, Rotarian from the Marshall Noon Rotary Club, introduced an area Rotarian drive to collect used and broken wheelchairs to be rebuilt and sent through the non-profit Hope Haven, distributer of wheelchairs internationally, to those who need wheelchairs worldwide.

A gallery opening event featuring a lifetime of work by Clarkfield artist Franz Allbert Richter will be held on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Madison Mercantile at 601 First Street in Madison.

Pot Roast:

1 (3-lb) pot roast

1 Tbsp dried minced onion flakes

2 Tbsp minced fresh garlic or to taste
