McKenna Hovland is packing up for her third year of college this year in a slightly different way; she will be taking enough shampoo, soap and bug spray to last 13 months since she will not be near very many shopping centers.

Midway Cafe

On Wednesday, the Midway Cafe suffered a grease fire. Fireman Larry Duis received the call at 10:17 a.m. Duis said it “got a little smoky.” The Midway will reopen once the grill is replaced.

Bloodmobile exceeded goal

The Sept. 9-10 Bloodmobile exceeded the goal of  95 units by 18 units.

There were 83 potential donors with seven deferrals and four  incompletes for a total of  113 units collected with the Power Red cell units

First time donors were  Michael Giese, Gregory Kockelman, Nicole Barry, and Tracy Kockelman.
