Adrian Joseph Hemish, age 91, of Canby, passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Audrey Jerzak, age 94, of Canby, Minn., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canby. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov.
Patricia Bednar, 86, of Brainerd, Minn., went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Nov. 24, 2024, at home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service at the Chapel.
John S. Cornell, age 71, of Canby, Minn., passed away in New London, Minn. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2024. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Canby. Burial will be in the Canby City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m.
John C. Dahlager, 93, of Fergus Falls, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, under the care of hospice. Funeral service took place Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at Zion Sarpsborg Free Lutheran Church in Dalton, Minn., with Reverend Mark Johnson officiating. Interment was at Zion Cemetery, Dalton, with Military participation from Ashby American Legion Post 357.
David “Mac” McDonald, age 87, of Canby, Minn., passed away on Monday, Nov. 4, 2024 at the Pipestone County Hospice House in Pipestone, Minn. Memorial service took place Monday, Nov. 11, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby and burial with military honors at the Canby City Cemetery.
Rosalyn Marie (Eischens) Bertamus passed peacefully from this world on Nov. 2, with family by her side and in the loving care of the staff at The Jack Byrne Center at DHMC.
Dale Zimmerman, age 89 of Porter, Minn., passed away on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, at the Eventide Lutheran Home in Moorhead, Minn., surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, Minn., with burial at the St. Lucas Cemetery rural Cottonwood, Minn.
James (Jim) Cochrane passed away October 19, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. He was 81 years old.
