Memorial services for 88 year old Logan Stamp of Madison were held Jan. 3, 2025, at the Zion United Methodist Church, Bellingham, Minn. Jan Eifealdt officiated at the service. Special music was provided by Jennifer Matthies – organist, Julie Hill and Andy Thole soloists. Honorary urn bearers were “All of Logan’s Bank Family”
The concluding service and burial was in Bellingham.
Logan William Stamp was born April 4, 1936, to William and Luella Zanke Stamp. Logan passed away on Dec. 26, 2024, at the age of 88. He lived most of his life in Garfield Township and the town of Madison. Logan graduated from Madison High School in 1954. He continued his education at the University of Minnesota graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
Logan had a varied career but is best remembered for his years with Klein Realty. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending time with family, fishing, and the rhythms of Madison and the surrounding farms.
Logan leaves behind many who will cherish his memory and hold him close to their hearts. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marilyn Matthies; his three children, Jeffrey and Kay, Luann and David, Michael and Jennifer; stepchildren; son-in-law, Greg, Kelly and Jim, Jill, and Redgy and Jennifer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Luella Stamp; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Ed Kossart; and step-daughter, K’wuna Thole.
