Steven Allen Yackley, age 78, of Canby, Minn., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and well-known member of the community, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. A celebration of Steven's life will be held on Friday, March 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, Minn.

William Stebor, age 76, of Gary, S.D., passed away Monday, March 4, 2024, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, Minn.. is entrusted with the arrangements.

Steven L. Johnson of Old Town, Fla., formally of Canby, Minn., passed away on December 28, 2023.

Steve was born on March 9 to Eleanor and Everett Johnson of Canby. He graduated from Canby High School in 1971 and went on to graduate from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Angeline Ochsendorf, age 92, of Canby, Minn., passed away with family at her side on February 28, 2024, at Sylvan Court in Canby. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on March 16 at Nicolai Lutheran Church in Canby with Rev. Dean Rager officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, one hour prior to the service at the church.

Lorraine Ione Kamrath was born July 16, 1929, the daughter of Iner and Ella (Peterson) Halstenson. She was very proud of her Scandinavian heritage. She lived in the Canby area all of her 94+ years. She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2024.

Roger Louis Burlingame passed away surrounded by his family on February 5, 2024. Roger was born in Canby, Minn., on February 26, 1939, to Raymond and Merlain Burlingame, the oldest of five children.

James “Jim” Citterman, age 63, of Hanley Falls, Minn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2024, in the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2024, at the St. John Cantius Catholic Church in Wilno, Minn. Burial will be in the St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Wilno.

Phyllis Haugen of Madison passed away on February 20, 2024, at the Madison HealthCare Center, surrounded by her family. She reached the age of 93 years, 11 months and 20 days. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, at Garfield with Rev. Bruce Bringle officiating with interment in the church cemetery.
