Joyce Abner, 96, of Canby, Minn., passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby.  Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18,, 2023, at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby,  with Rev. Levi Bollerud. Burial will be held at a later date.

On May 4, Shirley Anderson, beloved mother, sister, grandmother and aunt passed away at Our Lady of Peace Hospice after a battle with dementia.

Ruth O. Qualley, age 91, of Oshkosh, Wisc., formerly of Canby, Minn., passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Bella Vista Assisted Living in Oshkosh, Wisc. Memorial services for Ruth will be held in June. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby is entrusted with the arrangements.

Darold D. Hunt, age 79, of Gary, S.D., passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at his home near Gary. Funeral services were held on April 29.  Houseman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Duwayne Hoffman, age 76, of Canby, Minn., passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, at the St. Leo Catholic Church in St. Leo, Minn. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.

Muriel Wadsworth, age 100, of Porter, Minn., passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, at the Clarkfield Care Center in Clarkfield, Minn. Funeral services took place on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Porter, Minn., with burial in Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Minneota, Minn.

Pauline Hoffman, age 87, of Porter, Minn., passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby, Minn. Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, April 17, 2023 at the St. Leo Catholic Church in St. Leo, Minn., with burial at St. Leo Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to be given to the St.

Larry Alan Mortenson, age 72, of Canby, Minn., passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby.
