Mark Edward Laechelt was born July 20, 1958, at the Clarkfield Hospital in Clarkfield, MN, to Merlyn and Alice (Wick) Laechelt. Mark was one of six children. As second to the youngest, he and his little brother, Merle, were always getting into some kind of trouble. Mom knew when it was too quiet, that they were up to something.

Mass of Christian Burial for Wilfred “Willie” Hoffmann, 91, of Marshall, was held on Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Interment with military honors followed at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.

Margaret Joyce (Sanden) Olsen died peacefully with her family present on March 28, 2022, at the age of 94. A celebration service was held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, MN, with a visitation held on April 1, 2022, at the Houseman Funeral Home Birk Chapel in Canby, MN. Burial was in the St.

Margaret O. Fricka, age 91, of Canby, MN, passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Full Gospel Assembly Church in Canby with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Canby City Cemetery, Canby.

A celebration of life for Floyd Evens will be held on Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m., at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby, MN. Floyd died in Sioux Falls, S.D., on March 15, 2022. Dorothy Wiesen, age 92, of Canby, MN, peacefully entered her eternal life surrounded by her family on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby, MN.  Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canby, MN.  Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.

Kathryn “Kathy” Ann Machtemes was born on January 26, 1957, in Canby, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Marion and Joyce (Rankin) Schrunk. Kathy was baptized as an infant on April 14, 1957, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 21, 1972, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby.
