Taden Kruse Taden Duane Kruse, 16, of Gary, South Dakota, was ushered into Heaven following a car accident on June 15, 2021, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends. A celebration of Taden's life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at the Canby High School gymnasium, Canby, MN.
Judith Ann Fairchild, 81, of Roanoke, Ill., went to be with her Heavenly Father at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was born on November 14, 1939, in Peoria, Ill., the daughter of Janet and Merrill Castle. She married Dan Fairchild on March 11, 1987. He survives.
A memorial service for James and Sylvia Pridal was held Monday, June 14, 2021, at the Living Word Lutheran Church in Marshall, MN, with Pastor David Christensen officiating. Esther L. Thorpe, age 72, of Gary, SD, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 28, 2021, at her home. Funeral services were Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the Antelope Hills Christian Church, rural Canby, MN, with Pastor Steve Maas officiating. Burial was in the Antelope Hills Cemetery.
Lucille Draeger, age 91, of Medford, Wisc., passed away on May 24. Services were held May 27 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Medford, Wisc.
Mass of Christian burial for Linda Sjurseth, 60, of Marshall, formerly of Taunton, were on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota. Interment followed the service at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Taunton.
Spencer Shane Otteson, 33, of Canby MN, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at home surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Funeral service was Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Grace Life Church in Marshall, MN, with Pastor Doug Wing officiating.
Kathy Lea Budahl, age 72, of Pickerel Lake, SD, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at her residence.
Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m., with one hour visitation prior to the service on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel in Watertown with Jim Shroll officiating.
Dorothy Serene Mikkelson, 90, died peacefully on March 26 in hospice at Ava's House. She was born on March 30, 1930, in Redlands, CA, to Ole and Inga (Hinsvark) Landstrom. At the age of 3, her family moved back to the Midwest and purchased the Burr General Store in Burr, MN.
Allen C. Olson, age 67, passed away December 30, 2020, at his home, rural Canby, MN. Family and friends are invited to a gathering at PK Egans on Saturday, May 29th, 3-7 p.m. in the banquet room. A private burial will be held at a later date.
