Mr. Allen Wieneke was interviewed by Sierra Duis for this week’s CHS Staff Spotlight!
Wieneke is a PE teacher, football coach, and a basketball coach at Canby High School. He enjoys his job and he also likes the coaching part of his job, as well.

Senior Ben Prokop was nominated by the music department as the school’s student of the week. He is the son of Mike and Jodi Prokop.

Mr. Brian Skogen was interviewed by Jasper DeWall for this week’s CHS Staff Spotlight! Mr. Skogen is a man that keeps work at work and prioritizes his family time. Mr. Skogen has been married for 34 years and has five kids ranging from 17-30 with his wife who is one of his biggest supporters.
Senior Natalie Stoks was nominated by the art department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Adam and Kelly Stoks.

Superintendent Ryan Nielsen gave a quick building project update.
A lot of cement was poured last week, with the ag shop floors next on the docket.
The St. Peter’s School Artists of the Month for September are (L-R): Cora Driessen, kindergarten; Briella Pridal, second grade; Emry Ferguson, third grade; and Elijah Petersen, sixth grade.
