Three Minnesota West Alumni lead the future of offshore wind energy

In the quest for a sustainable future, three alumni from Minnesota West Community & Technical College are at the forefront of shaping the Offshore Wind Energy landscape along the East Coast. Zane Smith, Shane Watts, and Marshall Sims have embarked on a remarkable journey from the heart of the Midwest to the shores of Massachusetts.

Student of the Week

Senior Braelyn Merritt was nominated by the social studies department as the schools’ student of the week. She is the daughter of Blaine and Brook Merritt.

“Braelyn is a hard working student and is great to have in class,” the department said.

Don’t Forget

YAMS members participated in "Sticker Shock" placing stickers on products at Canby's liquor stores reminding adults to not provide alcohol to minors. Pictured (L-R) are Emily Walker, Reghan Sanow, Alison Duis and Kallie DeVos.
