Canby High School physics class takes fourth at Engineering Machine Design contest

 Students of Canby High School’s physics class competed in an interesting competition this past March. They were given a simple task to complete, and using a rolling pin, some baking soda, and a well-placed mousetrap, they were able to complete that task.

Canby High School Prom 2022

The Canby High School Prom will be held on Saturday, April 30, with the theme of “Northern Lights.” The evening’s activities begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 11:30 p.m. The prom and banquet are for students in grades 11 and 12. Sophomores may attend as a date of a junior or senior.

Student of the Week

Senior Krystal Eischens was nominated by the social studies department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Scott Eischens.

“Krystal juggles her academic and extracurricular activities well. She makes sure to accomplish all of her assignments in a timely manner,” the department said.

The St. Peter’s School artists of the month, (L-R) Clara Zitzmann, kindergarten; Bentley Grengs, second grade; Layla Wilson, third grade; and Zoya VanWyk, sixth grade, posed with their Valentine’s/Presidents’ Day projects made with watercolor resist, ink, oil pastels, as well as Warhol inspired art.
