Looking Back
From February 1972 - Canby Lancer wrestlers display their exuberance after winning the District 9 championship for the third consecutive year in a row and will advance II into the Region 3 tournament this weekend at Montevideo.
Senior High Knowledge Bowl
Last Monday evening, the Canby senior high knowledge bowl team hosted 18 teams from eight different schools. Taking first place was Lac qui Parle Valley 1, followed by Lakeview 1 in second and Marshall 3 in third. Canby placed right in the middle of the pack with ninth.
Looking Back
From February 1972 - Technology instructor Dan Lutgen was voted by students as having the best face of fur during Snow Week. He won, that’s right, a fur tie.
Student of the Week
Senior Alise Hansen was nominated by the music department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Beth and Rick Hansen.
Catholic Schools Week celebrated at School of St. Peter’s
Jan. 30 through Feb. 5 was Catholic Schools Week, and St. Peter’s had a week full of fun activities and dress-up days.
They started off the week with opening mass where students sat together. There was also a CCW turkey lunch to go.

Canby High School Student of the Week
Senior Gabby Harding was nominated by the math department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Kari and Jeff Harding.
"Gabby is currently taking college algebra through SMSU for college credit,” the department said.
Books Galore
Students and family members enjoyed the book fair this past week during Catholic Schools Week at St. Peter’s.
