The Canby School Board met on Monday, December 18.
Preston Euerle with RA Morton was in attendance with the construction bid recommendations and bid results.
Canby Elementary Student Council hosted a "giving tree" for the school families to partake in if interested. The student council partnered with Prairie Five to gift local families this holiday season.
Canby YAMS decorated holiday cookies to share with the residents at Sylvan Court and Sylvan Place. Members of the group pictured include (L-R): Kallie DeVos, Sadie Skogen, Jocelynn Lacek, Shelby Elsing, Jonna Briggs and Madison Antony.
Senior Ryah Beiningen was nominated by the choir department as the schools’ student of the week. She is the daughter of Beth Beiningen.
The Canby eighth grade class defeated the rest of the high school in the YAMS Penny War that took place last week. Presenting the proceeds to Kelly Erp (right) from the Prairie Five Food Shelf were YAMS members (L-R) Zach Ourada, Gabby Verhelst, Natalie Stoks and Blake Giese.
Senior Kale Dritz was nominated by the agriculture department as the schools’ student of the week. She is the daughter of Jared and Amber Dritz.
