St. Cloud State University has announced the names of more than 960 students whose academic achievement placed them on the 2024 spring semester dean's list. To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
The following students have been named to the 2024 spring semester dean's list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, the university announced today.
• Elizabeth Nemitz of Canby, senior in the College of Liberal Arts.
• Kaitlyn Hanson of Hendricks, senior in the College of Science and Engineering.
Joseph Wollum, of Porter, has been named to the Spring 2024 President's List at Simpson College.
Wollum qualified for the academic honor by earning a 4.00 grade point average during the semester.
Canby graduate, Lydia Thompson was named to the dean’s list at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Thompson is studying in the arts and sciences department and achieved this honor by earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the Spring 2024 semester.
Building progress is noticable with the new auxiliary gym addition taking shape next to the current ‘new’ gym.
The Canby School Board met on July 15 for their only meeting in July.
DeLon Clarksean, basketball booster treasurer, and varsity girls basketball coach Jeff Thovson were in attendance to speak to the board about Hudl, a video and data program used by many area schools. “It’s getting to be a big deal, “ said Thovson.
Alexis Wollum of Canby was among the University of North Dakota’s Spring Semester 2024 President’s Roll of Honor that was released July 8.
Canby Alumni, Rachel Harding, was honored on the 2024 Spring Semester Dean's List at Gustavus Adolphus College.
The list comprises students who have earned a 3.7 grade point average (based on a scale in which 4.0 = A) or higher for the semester ending in May 2024.
Joshua Laleman of Minneota was one of over 860 students to become a 2024 spring graduate from St. Cloud State University.
Laleman earned his bachelors in science with a major in land surveying/mapping science.
The following students graduated after the spring 2024 semester at South Dakota State University. More than 1,500 students completed all requirements for a degree and/or certificate program.
Overall, students from 35 states and 24 nations graduated following the spring 2024 semester.
The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (Dean's lists) for the past spring semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs David Hood.
