The Canby Lancers’ girls basketball team finished their season with a 7-17 record, falling in the Section 3A North quarterfinals.
The Lancers started the season 5-5 before things took a turn and the competition stiffened up, leading to 12 losses in their last 14 games.

Canby/Minneota track and field lost a number of exceptional athletes in 2022, but the cupboard is far from empty for a program rich in talent.
At the South Dakota State Tournament March 24-26, Presley Richter finished 10th on the floor with her score of 8.65.
Country Twisters Gymnastics traveled to Sioux Falls March 24-26 for the Level 3-10 and Xcel South Dakota State Tournament with six participants from Canby.
Despite the weather being cold and the ground covered in snow, conditions inside Redwood Valley High School were just fine for a track and field meet Thursday.
The Canby/Minneota girls team took first at the Redwood Valley meet and the boys took second, starting their seasons off in the right direction.
Russell-Tyler-Ruthton boys basketball capped their season with a Class A State Championship Saturday at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Russell-Tyler-Ruthton beat Dawson-Boyd 63-55 in a battle of Section 3A top seeds, punching their ticket to the Class A State Boys Basketball Tournament.
