The boys had another rough week, losing by only a few points to both Minneota at home and YME on the road. Fulda was able to top the Lancers by 14.
Two Canby wrestlers took first place and the team finished ninth in the Tom Keating Invitational Saturday.
Eli Greenman, wrestling at 106, and Lane Fink, wrestling at 145, earned the top spots for the Lancers.
The Canby Lancers boys varsity team presented the fourth grade players with new basketballs before the game against Minneota at home on Jan. 4.
The Lady Lancers earned themselves two wins at SMSU last week by defeating St. Clair on Tuesday and Wabasso on Wednesday.
The girls will head to MACCRAY this evening before hosting Renville County West on Friday. They will hit the road again Monday to take on Luverne.

Lane Fink took first place and the Canby wrestling team took fifth at the Benson Classic last week.
The Lancers dropped two at SMSU last weekend, falling to Hills-Beaver Creek on Wednesday and Renville County West on Thursday.
The boys hosted Minneota last night and will be on the road the rest of the week, starting with a trip to Fulda tonight and ending with a faceoff at Yellow Medicine East on Thursday.
