Nearly 400 youth from across the midwest submitted photos that demonstrated creativity and skill as they explored the great outdoors.

It’s time to get out and explore the Midwest states. 4-H is again challenging youth of all ages to grab a camera and head outdoors. This time, the challenge is to capture the places that make your state great.

Senior Joseph Hiedeman was nominated by the vocal music department as the school’s student of the week. He is the son of Jim and Cindy Hiedeman.

The Canby News hosted ninth graders from Mr. Lutgen’s class last Wednesday as they learned more about the newspaper business.

Tessah Anhalt shot this turkey tom April 23 near her home with the help of Chad Liebl.  The turkey’s beard was 14 inches long, and they guessed the turkey to weigh around 24-26 pounds.
