 Sanford Canby Clinic has several opportunities for children and adults to receive their flu vaccine this fall.

Vaccine clinics will be held inside the Sanford Canby Clinic on the following dates and times: •

Wednesday, Sept. 27, 1-4 p.m.

• Tuesday, Oct. 10, 7:30-9:30 a.m.

• Thursday, Oct. 19, 9 a.m. to noon

The Canby Fire Department was called to the report of a small grass fire north of Canby in Lac qui Parle County. The fire was accidently ignited when the landowner was mowing. The fire was quickly extinguished and the Canby Fire Department returned to service. Assisting at the scene was the Sanford Canby Ambulance. 

The Upper Minnesota Valley Regional Development Commission (UMVRDC) will hold its regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Appleton Civic Center. The public meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.

He specializes in care for children and adults, including annual preventive care exams, family medicine, and emergency medicine.
