Students at Canby Elementary grades K-6 brought home one copy per family of “The One and Only Ivan” by Katherine Applegate and began reading it with their families on Tuesday, Feb. 16. During the next three weeks, students and families will read the book together at home while celebrating and exploring the novel at school.

High school roof project to begin in May; activity fees, preschool fees discussed

The Canby School Board approved a bid for the high school roof project and discussed activity fees and the 2021-22 calendar during their Feb. 16 meeting.

Bloodmobile exceeds goal

The Feb. 18  Bloodmobile exceeded the goal of  72  units by four units.

There were 71  potential donors with four deferrals and one incomplete for a total of 76  units collected with the Power Red cell units.

First time donors were  Betty Maynard, Elise Ferguson, Laurie Breyfogle, and Allyson Hanson.
