At the November 21 meeting of the Canby School Board, the school board discussed the next steps to take after the passing of the $22,000,000 referendum.
Wed., Nov. 30 - Breakfast - Brekkie or choice of cereal with graham crackers; vegetable selection, fruit or juice selection, milk. Lunch - Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup or chef salad; steamed cauliflower, fruit and vegetable bar, milk and homemade brownie.
Senior Carlie Olson was nominated by the social studies department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Ryan and Tawny Olson.
“Carlie is always a respectful contributor to the class. She is also one of the hardest workers. She is always prepared for class,” the department said.
Canby Elementary Student Council hosted a food drive from Nov. 7-17. They collected canned food, non perishable food items, and personal hygiene products. Each class had a box to collect items in, and the class with the most items collected won DQ ice cream treats.
