Spelling Bee Champ

Griffin Livermore earned the title of Spelling Bee Champion on Jan. 9 as fifth through eighth grades competed at the Canby Elementary School. He will continue on to the Regional Spelling Bee on Feb. 18 in Redwood Falls. If unable to attend this competition, Caleb Van Hyfte, runner-up, will take his place.

 

CHS Student of the Week

Senior Aliyah Rangaard was nominated by the English department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Lori and Brian Rangaard.
“Aliyah is a positive and supportive student. She puts in effort when needed accompanied with an encouraging personality,” the department said.

Mr. Leppke says that the best way to balance work and personal life for him is to leave work at work, but it's not always possible, especially if you have kids. Mr.

Watts graduated from Los Angeles High School, graduated from Mount San Antonio Community College, and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
