The Canby School Board met on March 6. Cyber security, next year’s calendar, and the possible electric bus purchase were just a few of the items discussed.
St. Peter’s January artists of the month: Mckinley Flaws, kindergarten; Emry Ferguson, first grade; Bentley Grengs, third grade; and Henry Peterson, sixth grade.
Rhonda Buysse, a Minneota native, is an Early Childhood Special Education teacher at Canby Elementary School. Her husband is Jeff, and they have three sons, Beau, Brock, and Brant.
Buysse received her degree from Mankato State and her Masters from St. Mary’s.
Senior Mason Smith was nominated by the English department as the school’s student of the week. He is the son of Jennifer and Wilbur Drown.
