Tue., Sept. 10 - Breakfast: Chicken breakfast biscuit or Cinnamon Chex Lunch: Pancakes with scrambled eggs or ham deli sub sandwich, breakfast potatoes
Tues., Sept. 3 - Breakfast: Sausage breakfast pizza or Cinnamon Chex Lunch: Beefy nachos with homemade cheese sauce, salsa and refried beans
Wed., Sept. 4 - Breakfast: Banana chocolate loaf with cheese stick or Cinnamon Toast Crunch Lunch: Popcorn chicken bowl or turkey deli sandwich, steamed corn
The Canby School Board met on Monday, Aug. 19. With the last meeting being July 15, the board had a full agenda.
Superintendent Ryan Nielsen gave a building project update. “The building project is coming along pretty well,” stated Nielsen.
The Canby High School Class of 1969 is holding their 55th Class reunion on Friday, Sept. 6, from noon to 4 p.m. at Hero’s Sports Bar & Grill in Canby. There will be a designated space to meet at the bar and grill.

Armitage Field has a fresh look to it in 2024 as the turf installation process has already begun. Turf fields are growing in numbers across the state, and Canby is one of the newest school districts to install a turf football field.
The new football field looks more game-time-ready, with the yard lines marked off, end zones decorated, and the 50-yard line sporting the Canby Lancers’ logo. Pictures taken by Jeff Ferguson.
Southeast Technical College congratulates its students on completing their AAS, diploma and certificates at the end of the Summer 2024 semester.
Local graduates included Elysa Wollum of Canby, Klaire Banks of Taunton and Ava Larson of Minneota.
