Senior Brandon Danielson was nominated by the tech department as the school’s student of the week. He is the son of Michelle and Jon Danielson.
“Brandon has been doing our 3-D printing for our robot. He works diligently to get the job done. He is alway pleasant in class,” the department said.

The Canby School Board met on December 16 with a full agenda, including the yearly audit report.
Marlene Verdoes with Hoffman and Brobst was in attendance to present the 2024 audit report.
At 6 p.m. on Monday, December 16, Superintendent Ryan Nielsen started the public hearing concerning the 2024-25 Budget and Proposed 2025 Property Taxes.
Senior Kaden Turbes was nominated by the music department as the school’s student of the week. He is the son of Kyle and Katie Kack.
“Kaden is always pleasant, helpful and encouraging. He works hard and supports the whole class with his helpful attitude.,” the department said.
Jayelyn Talcott of Canby earned a Associate Degree in Business Administration from Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls, S.D., at the conclusion of the fall 2024 semester.
