Canby High School Student of the Week
Senior Ryan Skorczewski was nominated by the technology department as the school’s student of the week. He is the son of Brian and Melissa Skorczewski.
“I am nominating Ryan because he is always able to help his classmates and is pleasant to have in class,” the department said.
St. Pete’s Artists of the Month

During the month of September, we learned about the art term ‘collage’ and how to create one of the many types. We honored Queen Elizabeth by using her as the subject of our collages.
School board hears information about possible Spanish trip, updated on community education offerings
The Canby School Board met on October 17. A possible Spanish trip was introduced to the board.

During EMR Class taught by Dawn Ourada at the Canby High School, members of the Canby ambulance crew (above, L-R) Avery Lokken, Mike Greenman, and Kerri DeVos, showed the students the tools used to help in respiratory emergencies.
Canby High School Student of the Week
Senior Grace Fairchild was nominated by the vocational agriculture department as the school’s student of the week. She is the daughter of Ron and Suzanne Fairchild.
“Grace has been a leader in Ag and FFA for the last few years. She has always gotten involved and willing to help others,” the department said.
