The following students were named to the dean’s/honors lists at the colleges they attend. Typical requirements for dean’s list honors include taking at least 12 credits for the semester and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, though requirements may vary by college. * denotes a 4.0 GPA

Joseph Wollum and Kortney Leppke received the ExCEL Award. Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in school activities, leaders in their schools, and who demonstrate a strong commitment to community service.

Jaden Thomas Dobrenski, son of Cindy Sik Dobrenski,  and grandson of Tommy and Karolyn Sik, will graduate from Marshall High School, Friday, June 3, with high honors.

St. Peter’s School Artists of the Month for April were (L-R) Emry Ferguson (Kindergarten), Emelia Zitzmann (second grade), Audrey Delmonico (fourth grade), and Karli Weber (sixth grade). They created handprint art, weaving, both 3D and watercolor palm branches, architecture, and mixed media circus projects.

Kindergarten and first graders at both St. Peters and Canby Elementary Schools received recognition on May 3 from the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary for learning to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
