Canby Lancers golf teed up practice Monday, March 19, with new faces and strong numbers.
Adam Richter returns for his ninth year as head coach, and he’ll be assisted by first timer Nathan Hulzebos. The Lancers first meet is scheduled for April 9, weather permitting.

No. 1 ranked Goodhue proved their seeding right by winning the Class A Girls State Basketball Tournament 70-65 over No. 2 Mountain Iron-Buhl Saturday at Williams Arena.
Goodhue's road to the title included a 65-38 opening round win over Mayer Lutheran, and a 63-53 win over No. 4 seeded Underwood in the semifinals.
Russell-Tyler-Ruthton is making another trip to the Class A Boys State Basketball Tournament with a dominating win over Central Minnesota Christian in the Section 3A championship Thursday night at SMSU in Marshall.
The fifth grade boys finished their season as consolation champs at the MN State Pacesetters tournament in Redwood Falls Saturday. Despite a first round exit in Section 3A playoffs, Canby boys basketball had a solid 2023-24 season.
The Lancers finished with a 15-11 record, falling in the first round in a tight 70-64 loss to the Minneota Vikings.
