Canby started the week off with a pair of wins over YME and RCW. Unfortunately they came out on the wrong end of a nail biter against MCC to end the week.
They will try to add another victory to the win column tonight at TMB.

Canby’s shooting touch was off in a 70-59 home loss to Minneota Friday night.
A game that was tight throughout tipped the Vikings way in the final minutes.
Canby put it on Yellow Medicine East on the Lancer floor Dec. 4, taking a 67-51 win.
The Lady Lancers held an 8-6 lead early, then took control with a 13-2 run over a five minute stretch, building a 21-8 lead with nine minutes left in the first half.
Canby put three wrestlers at the top of the podium in the Grant County Tournament at West Central Area Saturday.
Eli Greenman, Issac Guzman, and Nick Wagner all placed first in their weight classes.
Canby cleaned up against two opponents, but lost a tight match in a quad at Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Tuesday night.
The Lancers crushed Quad County and Red Rock Central by a combined score of 129-11.
Matches were much tougher, though, in a 39-32 loss to TMB/WWG.

A deep first half hole was too much for Canby to climb out of in a 60-41 loss at Minneota Friday night.
Canby’s only lead came on an Addison Driessen three that put the team up 3-2.
The Lancers and Vikings traded buckets for the first four minutes, with Canby keeping it a one-point game on a Brynn Kockelman bucket.
Canby wrestling won two of three matches at the Marv Sherill Dual Tournament to start their season Saturday.
The Lancers beat Mitchell 54-16 before taking a 63-9 thrashing at the hands of Watertown. The Lancers bounced back in their third match, beating Huron 51-21.
Canby boys basketball weren’t sharp offensively, but their defense carried the day in a 58-46 win over Edgerton at home Thursday night.
The Lancers shot only 37 percent for the game, and 17 percent from three, but they forced 19 turnovers and held Edgerton to just 34 percent from the floor.
