She also enjoyed watching and attending figure skating events, including National Championships and Stars on Ice performances.
Millie appreciated the simple pleasures of life such as taking a ride in a convertible, sharing a cold Miller Lite in a bottle and having shrimp from Red Lobster. She delighted in the arrival of the first robin each spring, loved dogs and cats, and loved to dog sit for others. She especially enjoyed visits from Suzy at Sylvan Court and treasured wearing jewelry gifted to her by loved ones. Above all, Millie cherished her family, her many friendships, and the close bonds she formed with the staff and residents at Sylvan Court.  Millie passed away with family by her side on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby, Minnesota at the age of 95.
