Mary Wager of Dawson died on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, at Johnson Memorial Care Center at the age of 84.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, at Antelope Hills Christian Church in Canby, Minn.  

Donald Leroy Erp, age 94, of Canby, Minn., died peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, at Sanford Canby Sylvan Court Nursing Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby. Visitation will be Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St.

Debra Stone, age 64, of Gary, S.D., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 22, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary, S.D., with burial at Grandview Cemetery. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel of Canby was entrusted with arrangements.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jean Neisius, 85, of Marshall, took place at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. Interment followed the service at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.

Karen Antony, age 61, of Porter, Minn. passed away on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2023, surrounded by her family at her home near Porter. Mass of Christian Burial was Jan. 2 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canby with burial at the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Canby. Houseman Funeral Home-Birk Chapel of Canby was entrusted with the arrangements.

Edward King, Jr., age 50, of Canby, Minn., passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at his home in Canby. There will not be services for Ed at this time. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby is entrusted with the arrangements.

Marvin Arnold Dyshaw, 92, of Grimes, Iowa, formerly of Canby, Minn., peacefully passed away on Dec. 24, 2023, with his son Mark at his side. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby with Rev. Levi Bollerud officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church.

Myrna Lou Tesch, age 79, formally of Canby, Minn., passed away peacefully on December 15, 2023, in Covington, Ky., with her granddaughter Annie at her side. She was born on November 3, 1944, and was raised by her adoptive parents, Lloyd and Iona Lueders.
