Cheryl Rae Norquist, 61, of Canby, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at the Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Canby with Rev. Levi Bollerud officiating.  Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 14, from 5-7 p.m.

Lois Schmitz died November 4, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born Aug. 7, 1935, to Henry and Genevieve (Hoscheit) Meyer. She attended Catholic Central Grade School and Loretto High School, graduating in 1953. On Aug. 30, 1955, Lois married Miles Schmitz, they were blessed with 12 children.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd Edward Buys on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025, at his home in Canby, Minnesota. 
Todd was born on March 11, 1967, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Edward and Donna Buys.   

Norma P. Bockes, age 94, of Canby, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at The Estates of St. Louis Park Nursing Home. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at the Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel in Canby, with Rev. Levi Bollerud officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour prior to the service.

Hanard Arthur Lien, age 85, of Northfield passed away October 25, 2025, at the Northfield Hospital surrounded by family. 

Lyle Gene Gorder, age 95, of Canby, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at the Sanford Canby Medical Center. 

Dale Anhalt, age 86, of Canby, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Canby, with Rev. Levi Bollerud officiating. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

The Zahrbock Funeral Home announces the death of 69-year-old Wayne Longhenry of Bellingham, Minnesota.  
Wayne passed away on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, at St. William’s Care Center, Milbank, South Dakota.
