Phyllis Haugen of Madison passed away on February 20, 2024, at the Madison HealthCare Center, surrounded by her family. She reached the age of 93 years, 11 months and 20 days. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024, at Garfield with Rev. Bruce Bringle officiating with interment in the church cemetery.

Katrina Vick, age 63, of Canby, Minn., passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D. Memorial Service was held February 26 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby. Housman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel of Canby is entrusted with arrangements.

Charlotte Thompson, age 91, of Canby, Minn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, in Canby. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Canby with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Canby City Cemetery.

Linda King, age 74, of Canby, Minn., passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, S.D. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canby. Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 23, from 5-7 p.m.

Dorothy Mae Olson was born on May 6, 1931, in Deuel County, S.D., to Orva Josephine (Udesen) Peterson and Martin Dewey Peterson. She was a lifelong resident of the Gary and Canby area. She was raised on a farm in rural S.D. and attended Spring Dell Country School through the eighth grade.

Dorothy Olson, age 92, of Canby, Minn. passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary, S.D. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 15, from 5-7 p.m.

Vonnie Gossen, age 87, of Canby, Minn., passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Sylvan Court Nursing Home in Canby. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, February 12, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Canby, Minn. Burial was at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Canby.
