Doreen Mae Benson, age 94, of Lakeville, Minn., formerly of Canby, Minn., passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2023, at The Fountains at Hosanna Retirement Community in Lakeville. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Bryan Pohlen, 61, of Mitchell, S.D., passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023, at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell. Funeral services were held on Nov. 25, at RiverTree Church in Mitchell with burial at Servicemen's Memorial Cemetery in Mitchell. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.

Arlys Buer died Friday, Nov. 17, 2023, at Johnson Memorial Care Center in Dawson at the age of 85.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2023, at Providence Valley Lutheran Church, rural Dawson. Pastor Kendall Stelter officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Leon Werner, of Dawson, died on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023, at Johnson Memorial Care Center at the age of 101.

Funeral services was held at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Boyd, on November 27 with burial at the church cemetery.

Arlys Buer died Friday, Nov. 17, 2023 at Johnson Memorial Care Center in Dawson at the age of 85.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25 at 11 a.m., at Providence Valley Lutheran Church, rural Dawson. Pastor Kendall Stelter will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.

Chuck Houtman, age 84, of Canby, Minn., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at the Sanford Canby Medical Center. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14, at the First Presbyterian Church in Canby. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov.

William Jerol Livingston was born in Canby, Minn., on August 28, 1931, the son of Lawrence and Grace Miller Livingston. He grew up in Canby and graduated from Canby High School in 1949. Under Bill's name in the Lancer yearbook it reads “Little Mr. Fixit".

Jacqueline Ruth Mahlum, 56, of Waconia, Minn., passed peacefully into heavenly glory on November 2, 2023, at Cedar Crest Estate, Silver Lake, Minn., after many years of early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
