Robert Merritt Sr., age 89, of Porter, Minn., passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at his home near Porter.

Funeral services for Edmund Paul Murken of Glenwood  were held on July 6, 2023, at Glenwood Lutheran Church in Glenwood, with Reverend Krista Lee officiating. A visitation took place July 5 at the Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck. Burial was at Glenwood Cemetery in Glenwood.

Mass of Christian Burial for Marian Hoffmann, 87, of Minneota, will be Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church. Visitation will be Friday from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. at the church, with a rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service.

Jeanie Pederson, age 78, of Gary, S.D., passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at the Sanford Canby Medical Center in Canby, Minn. The funeral service was held on June 23, 2023, at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Gary, with Rev. Bruce Mueller officiating. Burial took place at Grandview Cemetery, Gary.

Ruth Qualley, age 91, of Oshkosh, Wisc., passed away peacefully on May 2, 2023, at Bella Vista Assisted Living in Oshkosh. Memorial services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church in Canby, Minn., with Rev. Levi Bollerud officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
